Pokémon Shuffle is a Match 3 game, similar to Puzzle and Dragons, where you have to match three or more Pokemon characters of the same kind on the game board. The objective in each level is to fight against another Pokemon character, who you need to try to capture in the end.
Pokémon Shuffle's game mechanics are simple and unoriginal: you have a game board full of Pokemon characters, and on each turn you can move one Pokemon in order to match three or more of the same kind. When you combine them, the Pokemon disappear and you inflict damage on your enemy.
The game has some interesting aspects within its gameplay. For example, if you play against a fire Pokemon (a Charizard, for example), it's interesting to battle with a water Pokemon, since combining them on the game board inflicts much more damage to your enemy. Also, you can level-up your Pokemon, making your character a more powerful opponent.
Pokémon Shuffle is a game that's not very original in its approach but, nevertheless, has successfully introduced the world of Pokemon to the Match 3 genre. The graphics are captivating (as they should be) and all the details are very well maintained.
